Monday morning Xavier came to visit me while I was busy in the washroom. Somehow he lost his footing, fell forward and hit his head on the corner of the base board heater. The gash on his forehead did not look good. Richard was able to stay home with Emma as I rushed Xavier to Children's emergency.
After waiting for 3 hours, Xavier was finally seen. The doctor felt Xavier's gash was small enough that it didn't require stitches, instead, he put glue on the wound.
Everything is back to normal now, but what a way to start the week!
